What we collect
- When you apply: your name, how to reach you (email or phone), your household, your town, and anything you tell us in your application notes.
- When you become a customer: your account details, including your sign-in, household information, delivery address, preferred delivery window, and delivery notes (like gate codes or where to leave your food).
- When you sign in: a single essential session cookie that keeps you signed in. That is the only cookie the site uses.
We do not run advertising trackers or analytics on this site, and we do not sell, rent, or share your information with anyone for marketing.
How we use it
- To read and answer your application, personally.
- To plan menus around your household's tastes, allergies, and preferences.
- To prepare and deliver your dinners on the schedule we arrange with you.
Who can see it
The two chefs who run Dinner Is Waiting, and the email provider that processes our mail. Nobody else. Your delivery details appear only on the route sheet the kitchen uses on your delivery day.
How long we keep it
As long as you are a customer, and long enough to answer your application if you don't join. You can ask us at any time to show you what we hold, correct it, or delete it, and we will do it promptly.
